How to Join
Texas A&M SHRM has an open membership policy, which means there is no application or selection process!
All interested students are encouraged to join.
Membership is not restricted to a specific major or classification level. We welcome anyone with a passion for HR, leadership, business, or learning!
If you want to join, start by joining our main communication channel on Flare and follow us on Instagram, both linked here: Our Quick Links
You will be able to access our semester calendar, meeting details, and more through Flare. Feel free to reach out to any of the officers directly or in the group chat if you have questions.
You can also pay dues through Our Quick Links.
If you pay dues and join our Flare, all that is left to become an active member, is fulfilling your point requirements.
To be a member of the Texas A&M SHRM Chapter, you are required to pay dues of $40/semester or $60/year.
Chapter dues can be paid with cash or check at meetings, or online with a credit/debit card through the secure Texas A&M MarketPlace.
National & Local SHRM Student Membership
National student membership is $75 per year. Students can register for national student membership online with the SHRM Student Membership Online Application.
Our local professional SHRM chapter student membership is free. Students can register for Brazos Valley SHRM membership online at Brazos Valley SHRM.
(Local and national dues are not inclusive of each other. As such, individuals are strongly encouraged to obtain membership with both.)
