TAMU SHRM Membership
How to Join
Texas A&M SHRM has an open membership policy, which means there is no application or selection process! All interested students are encouraged to join by emailing tamushrm@gmail.com. From there, all you have to do is pay dues (see below) and submit a student profile.
While affiliated with Mays Business School, membership is not restricted to a specific major or classification level. We welcome anyone with a passion in HR!
To be a member of the Texas A&M SHRM Chapter, you are required to pay dues of $20/semester or $30/year! Chapter dues can be paid with cash or check at meetings, or online with credit card through the secure Texas A&M MarketPlace.
To become an "Active Member" within the Texas A&M Student Chapter, we require that each member obtain a minimum total of 4 points over the course of one semester. There are opportunities to gain the points by attending the bi-weekly meetings, participating in SHRM events, and engaging in volunteer opportunities. You can obtain points through the following:
Attending General Meeting or Informational = 1 point
Attending Socials = 2 points
